Amparo Del Carmen's story
Amparo is a determined woman. She is married, and has a family of three children, all of whom are now independent. She continues to work selling clothing and cosmetics by catalog. She started with her own savings, but later with microloans that gradually helped her increase her business's inventory. Nowadays, she has the support of her three children and of her husband, who is a security guard. However, she asserts that she is one of those people who have never liked to depend on anyone, so that she has always liked to earn her own money, and that way satisfy all her basic needs. On this occasion, the greatest project she has is improving her home's infrastructure, so that her family will have protection and safety. With the loan, she will buy construction materials that will help her change the level of the walls of her house, and improve the roofing also. She is grateful for the help of the microfinance institution; for their support in improving her standard of living and the condition of her house.
