Dedemus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase ingredients to sell more treats and also to buy seedlings.
Dedemus is a 56-year-old farmer and married to Maria, a 36-year-old lady. They are blessed with five children: Febi, 20, studying at a university in Jakarta; Desi, 18, studying in the 2nd grade of Senior High School; Gusti, 17; Noven, 14, studying in the 6th grade of Elementary School; and Mersy, 9, studying in the 2nd grade of Elementary School. To make a living, Dedemus cultivates water spinach, string beans and mustard greens at his farm. In addition, Dedemus and his wife sell different kinds of treats such fried banana, ‘nagasari’ (rice-flour cake stuffed with banana slices inside and wrapped in banana leaves), fried cassava, etc. The limitation of income generated from the business led Dedemus to work hard to finance his children’s educational fees and daily needs. Therefore he is requesting a loan amounting to IDR 3,000,000 from TLM to enlarge his businesses. He would like to buy more ingredients to sell more treats and also to buy seedlings.
