Samira is a 38-year-old married woman and the mother of three children. In 2009, she started selling Brazilian gold and beauty cosmetics. Samira works from her house to manage both her business and family issues. Her husband supported her a lot at the beginning and now she is capable enough to manage her business as much as she can. Samira is a hardworking woman. She applied for a loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua, in order to increase her products with a new cosmetics collection necessary for the spring/summer season. Samira hopes to expand her business more and more in the future and stay capable of supporting her family as much as she can. Fawziya is a 62-year-old divorced woman with no children. She worked hard to start her own business so that she wouldn't need anyone's help. Fifteen years ago, Fawziya started selling clothes with the help of her sister's children, who gave her the capital requested to start a business of her own. It was a hard step to take, but she had to make her own career. With the requested loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua, Fawziya will start selling Brazilian gold and beauty cosmetics in addition to clothes, attracting enough customers. She hopes she can go to France during the sales season to buy special clothes that fit her customers’ needs and satisfy their desires. Fatima is a 33-year-old married woman and mother of three children. In 2007, she started her own business selling Brazilian gold and beauty cosmetics. Her husband helped her a lot at the beginning. He led her to most of the dealers and she is dealing with them these days. Fatima is a courageous woman who works hard to reach her goals. Fatima is applying for a loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua, in order to increase her products. She found a shop which she intends to rent and will make the necessary changes in it to open it very soon. Fatima hopes to succeed more and more in her business in the future.
