Anonymous Group's story
The client, a young, dynamic and ambitious entrepreneur, is 26 years old and married. She is a member of the Matumaini borrowing group. She sells clothes. She began this business when she heard about the micro loans available from MFI Hekima. Her mother showed her how to become independent. She began her business with a first loan of $50. She displays her items in the military camps among her peers, as well as at the Katindo public market. Her husband is a military officer. With the profit, she is able to save, buy food and support her children's education. However, she has just received her fifteenth loan from Hekima. Over time, this client has seen her business thrive in a positive way. For this reason, she decided to increase the loan amount for this cycle. This new loan will allow her to buy 30 pieces of "pagne" fabric. In addition, she would like to see her children grow up, and expand her horizons by opening a store. Sasangelo is grateful to Hekima for helping poor women excluded from traditional banks to become independent.
