Liz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy thread, cloth, and zippers.
Liz is a 37-year-old, dedicated, single mother. Since she became single, she has cared for her 2 children by herself in her home in Tambo district. She sought a way to earn money to survive and started what is referred to as a dressmaking business. She makes a variety of traditional skirts, petticoats, ponchos, and other accessories worn by people in the countryside. She is doing well because her workshop is located in a center alongside Huancayo's city market. She now has 4 years of experience and has leaned a lot, such as how to sell a variety of clothing during national festivals where she makes extra money with which she can pay her household expenses. She belongs to the communal bank “IDME.” This is her 13th loan cycle with MFP, with whom she hopes to continue working so that she can meet her goals and to whom she once again promises to make her payments. She is also grateful to be part of her communal bank because all its members are caring and responsible people. Liz will use the money she is requesting to purchase thread, cloth, zippers, and other accessories needed to make her garments.
