Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group is called “Mujeres Unidas” (United Women) because all are in search of better living conditions and new opportunities for their families. The group of 23 is in its sixteenth cycle. Each one has her own productive activities and they are very responsible and united with one-another. Norma sells second-hand clothing of all types. She says that her sales have gotten better, since people see second-hand clothing as a good alternative, and she always offers good clothing at good prices. She also says that she would like to continue expanding and in this way be able to help her family. She has approached the foundation and Kiva to request a loan. She wants to invest the money into second-hand clothing so that she can have a good stock of merchandise to offer her customers.
