Gloris Grisela's story
Gloris is 33, and lives with her partner and their three children in their home located in the city of San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. She has a small general store where she sells all kinds of household products, such as toilet paper, eggs, vegetables, meats, dairy products and milk. Gloris is applying for 20,000 lempiras in order to buy cement, wire mesh, and steel, as she needs to protect her home from animals that get in and eat up the trees that she is growing. In addition her home and business will be better protected with this fence. With this investment, Gloris also intends to raise pigs, which is another source of income she has in addition to her general store. Gloris has plans to someday build apartments to rent, and this way improve her income and her family's quality of life.
