Lucero De La Mañana Group's story
Federica is 46 years old and married. She did not have the opportunity to get an education. She has five children, and four of them go to school. She sells typical clothing, and she also makes aprons. She started by thinking of improvement for her family. So far she has eight years of experience in selling clothes. She has her husband’s support. He makes pants and aprons. She organized a group with the objective of requesting a loan. The loan would serve to increase her capital in her business of selling typical clothing, to buy Mayan skirts, traditional blouses, and sashes, etc. The other members of the group devote themselves to diverse financial activities like selling clothes, food, working in a general store, making aprons and pants, making blouses, and raising animals. In the future they believe their businesses will be large, and they will have different products.
