Nicole Aracely's story
Nicole is a young, single entrepreneur; she has no children. She lives in the Abraham Calazacón Parish in Santo Domingo which is a canton and new city in the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Province which used to be a rural parish in Quito (Capital of Ecuador). It’s located between the coast and the country’s mountains between important cities. It is the rainiest part of the country so it’s rich in water resources; its average temperature is 22°C. For the last two years Nicole has been selling mobile phones and communications accessories. This has helped her support herself. She started it on her own initiative. Now, Nicole wants to grow and needs a loan to do so to invest in merchandise to have a wider selection available for customers thus obtaining higher income. This is her first loan and she’s very optimistic. The credit evaluation on the part of Fundación Alternativa determined that Nicole will be able to make her payments. Besides, Fundación Alternativa is the intermediary between Nicole and lenders worldwide that will provide assistance and support so that she can grow in a sustainable way.
