Tem's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase a horse.
Tem is from Prey Chhor district of Kompong Cham province. She is 31 years old and is married with four children, all of whom are single. Tem usually grows a rice crop, which is a traditional activity she has always done. From this farming business, she is able to earn an average of USD 2.00 a day to cover her daily expenses. Her husband works in the same business as her, rice farming. Besides the crop-growing business, Tem’s husband also acts as a horse driver for all the passengers and villagers who need to travel in and around their community or need to have someone pick up their merchandise. Presently, his existing horse is getting old and it cannot support him while running his business. That is why Mrs. Tem would like to borrow a loan to purchase a new horse for her husband so he can run his business as before. In the future, Tem hopes she can expand her crop-planting business, to repair her house and enroll her children in a high level of education.
