Alvaro Carrillo Group's story
This communal bank is named "Alvaro Carillo" and it's comprised of thirteen members. They are all hardworking women with different businesses who share the same dreams, since all of them wish to improve their businesses and their living conditions. One of the members is 36-year-old Catalina. She's a single mother of two children, one daughter and one son. She sells ladies', gentlemen's and children's clothing, and also toys and ladies' accessories. She reports that she likes her business very much, because she makes good profits and works from home; besides, she gets to be around her children. She requested the loan in order to purchase more clothing, toys and ladies' merchandise, since she makes good profits from all of those things. The other group members are: Antonina Florencia, who sells clothing; Epifanía, who sells food; Feliza Antonina, who sells cheese; Criselda Guadalupe, who sells water; Minerva, who sells antojitos (a typical Mexican snack); Juana Marisol, who sells perfumes; Ambrocia Eutiquia, who sells refreshments; Vicenta, who sells groceries; Araceli, who's a seamstress; Esperanza, who sells clothing; Zita Anastacia, who sells clothing; Reinalda Gisela, who sells costume jewelry. They give thanks to Fundación for all the support they have been given in order to get ahead and succeed in life.
