A loan helped to pay workmen to build a retaining wall.

Andrea's story

Andrea's main business activity is selling spare parts, sandpaper and sheets for power saws. She makes her sales in the busiest market in the city of El Alto on Thursdays and Sundays. She also makes aprons for cholitas (women who wear traditional clothing). She sells these products at the same time as she sells her other items. Andrea is an existing client who has a good payment record. She will invest her loan in paying workers to build a retaining wall at her home. She lives in Tacagua district, in her own home. Her husband is a rural teacher and he helps her to cover their household expenses. Andrea has one 16-year-old son in her care who is attending high school and also helps her in some of her activities. Andrea is a very hard-working person who feels happy and grateful to the institution for the support they have provided.
