The group members within the community bank carry out different business activities, such as: - Chocolate production, - Sale of hygienic and other supplies, - Store and bookstore, - Knitting sweaters, - Clothing sales, - Sale of alpaca yarn, - Sewing tents and - Grocery store Sebastiana points out that she has been working with Pro Mujer for fifteen years and joined following an invitation from a friend. At present, she has a business where she produces and sells chocolates. She's been doing this for many years, which she learned from her sister-in-law's group. She will use this credit to increase her capital (purchasing sugar) that she will buy from the fair market in El Alto. She will then make the chocolate and sell it in the city of Oruro. Her business allows her to make the money she needs to support her family, since she is widowed and has two children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the health facilities.
