Leon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy coffee plants and contract day laborers.

Leon's story

Leon, 30 years old, is a happy and determined young man. He lives in his own house, hoping for his own well-being and a better quality of life. Leon is a profitable young man who works the land to cultivate coffee plants, which he has done for more than 22 years. During harvest time he counts on the support of his young friends and in this way is able to quickly pick fruit to be sold to the collection companies that pay good earnings for each kilogram of coffee he sells. It is difficult for him to transport his sacks of harvest from his ranch to the collection center in the locality of Palmapampa. Now his priority is to obtain new land to increase his plantation and therefore his production and ultimately achieve financial stability. This will be his 3rd loan with MFP, and he is ready to continue making all his payments on time. In his communal bank he is a very responsible member. With the 3,000 nuevos soles, he will buy coffee plants to increase his crop and with the rest, will contract day laborers to help him plant them.
