Damir's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase three cubic meters of lumber.

Damir's story

Damir is a young man of 26, he is married and has a child. Since youth, he apprenticed with a master craftsman who made traditional chests. These chests are household objects and are used by Tajiks to store a bride's dowry, and also serve as a gift for a daughter when she gets married. After six months of training, Damir began manufacturing the chests on his own. In the beginning, things were difficult due to limited clientele. However, after working for one year, Damir acquired his own customers who regularly place orders for his chests. He makes a high-quality product and uses good wood, as well as a variety of ornaments and designs to decorate the chests' fronts. Using this loan, Damir would like to buy three cubic meters of lumber to increase production.
