Banco Mujer Avanzando Juntas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy all types of merchandise to sell and farming supplies for growing bananas.

Banco Mujer Avanzando Juntas Group's story

Ingrid is the president of the Women's Communal Bank "Avanzando Juntas" (Advancing Together). She has plenty of experience leading this group. This is the third loan she is requesting from the bank. Ingrid sells all types of merchandise ranging from clothing, shoes, and cosmetics to selling pigs. Everything she does is with the intention of moving her family forward. Ingrid has to oversee everything because she must care for her 11-year-old son and her elderly mother.

The members of this group live in the community of Talamanca, where there are no employment opportunities. For this reason, the loans from Fundación Mujer have been a great help to them and their families. Ingrid's dream is to open a bazaar in her house. The group has a total of 10 members and they engage in retail business activities and farming. Ingrid is involved in these activites and will invest her loan as operating capital.
