A loan helped To buy mechanic's tools for sale.
Barrio Shiñuu Group's story
The "Barrio Shiñuu" group is made up of eleven hard-working people who want to get ahead and succeed in life, in order to offer a better life to their families. Carmen Cristina is one of the members of the group. She is 49, single, and very hard-working. She tells us that she has been selling mechanic's tools for four years, and also makes flower arrangements for weddings, coming-out parties for 15-year-olds, and baptisms. What she likes best about her business is giving good service to her clients, so that they buy from her again. She asked for the loan, in order to buy more mechanic's tools for sale at wholesale and retail. The other members of the group are Lizet, who sells costume jewelry; Irineo and Juan Diego who sell mechanic's tools; Justina Azucena who sells clothing; María Estela, who sells groceries; Carmen who sells fruits and vegetables; and Juana Cristina, Mariana Marina, and Elizabeth who sell shoes. They are thankful to the Foundation for helping people who wish to have their own business, and a better quality of life.
