Maricela De Los Angeles's story

Maricela, a young woman of 20, is an uncomplicated inhabitant of Los Ranchos, a poor community of León, where the majority of her neighbors, like herself, live in very humble houses of tin, plastic, and cardboard, but even in the midst of her poverty, she has the spirit to excel and an untiring will to advance. She is the mother of a one-year-old son. For two years her work has been raising pigs. This has been her first business, which her parents taught her, since they did the same work. She is applying for the loan to buy pigs, since this is a business that generates good income and which helps her family advance. Her goal is to be able to have a reproductive pig farm and to improve the conditions for raising her animals,. She wants to save to gradually repair her house, little by little.
