Las Naranjas Group's story

The “Las Naranjas” (the Oranges) group consists of 6 people who all have their own type of business. Rosa Linda, a single mother with one son who is in school, gave the interview. She will use the money from the loan to buy clothing for women, men, and boys and girls. She has been in this work for three years and three months and she told us that it’s going well and has helped her improve her earnings for her home and business. She started the business on her own because she thought it could get her family ahead. This is most important for her and with God’s help, she is succeeding. What she wants most with this loan is that she can continuing working to help her son because he is her responsibility. The other members of the group are: Silvina, who will use the loan to buy farm products, María Vitalina will buy Fuller cosmetics, Teresa will buy and sell clothing, Carmen will buy and sell school supplies, and finally, Hilda will buy merchandise to stock her grocery store.
