Edith's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 36-year-old Edith from Waterloo. She is married and has two children, one of whom is 2 years old and one of whom is 12 years old. One of her children attends school. Edith runs a pharmacy. She sells cool syrup, nova gin, paracetamol tabs, and blood syrup and malaria drugs. She has been running this business for 14 years. She works from 8:00 am, 7 days a week. Her business is her main source of income. Edith says that the main challenges to her business are transportation and price inflation. Edith has requested a loan in order to buy more blood syrup, malaria drugs, cool syrup and paracetamol tablets. The extra income from this loan will allow her to increase her profits. In the future, she plans to build a clinic. She thanks you for your support!
