Marta Idania's story
Marta Idania, age 30, is married and has three children, ages 12, 8, and 2. She lives in Omoa, Cortes. Marta is a very hard-worker. She started her own business activity with her own funds six years ago. She started selling merchandise like school supplies, home cleaning products, toothpaste, lotions, and others. Then she added other products (gum and snacks) like candy, and churros, etc. This business produces good income because there are a lot of children who consume these products, and she sells plenty of them. With her earnings and the loans she has gotten she has been slowly stocking the business. This loan that she is requesting is the second one. She will stock up on churros, candy, and school supplies. The idea is to expand the business, to keep it stocked, and to get improved income to meet her family’s needs.
