Bokk Jom Group's story

This group was established on May 14, 2010. It is made up of 13 women who come from different neighborhoods. They got together based on affinities and friendship. Their main businesses are handicraft and hairdressing. Mrs. Anta, standing on the side in the photograph, is responsible for the group. She's 55 years old, a widow, and the mother of five children. She also has one of her nephews to support. She owns a refrigerator, which enable her to run a business selling cream and ice. She has a good experience in this field, due to the fact n for more than ten years. Her new loan will enable her to buy monkey breads (baobab tree fruits), dried sorrel flowers, and sugar for her business. Her goal is to increase her savings at the Banc Villageois, promote her business, and take care of her children and her nephew.
