Virgen De Fátima Group's story

“Virgen de Fátima" is the name of this group and they are currently in the 2nd cycle of Fundación Paraguaya's Enterprising Women Program. With 14 members, it is a group of responsible and hard working women who make their livings from various activities. Señora Myrian is an admirable woman. Even with the adversities that she has lived through, she has always worked hard and doesn't give up. She tells us that she is a weaver and that thanks to her work, she can help with the household expenses. She says that she feels very happy with what she does, as it is a way she has to contribute in her home. Señora Myrian is requesting help from Kiva and Fundación Paraguaya to purchase thread, fabric, needles and other supplies for her weaving. She is grateful for the program since she has a special physical capacity and many times she is denied access to loans. Through this opportunity with Fundación Paraguaya she feels useful.
