Gloria Ramona's story

Gloria Ramona, 53, is a single mother; she has four children whose ages range between 17 and 28 years. She lives in Santa Cruz de Yojoa. Gloria has been making food to sell for ten years; she sells breakfasts and lunches. Her food stand is located in a locale in the center of the community which she spends all day in tending to customers. She used to sell clothes and shoes but the opportunity to sell food arose and it’s been better. She started the business with her own efforts and then asked ODEF for financing. To date, she’s had seven loan requests and this one in the amount of 18,000 will be used to buy meats, condiments, soft-drinks and all the ingredients and supplies needed to prepare the food. Her plan is to increase sales and income which will help her improve her standard of living.
