Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, and also to buy wood for improving the infrastructure of her business.

Maria's story

María, who is 48, is a determined woman who wants to excel. She is a single mother who lives in her own house with her small daughter. María loves her daughter very much and always tries to give her the best and make sure that she is missing nothing in this life. María sells corn at her store, which is set up in her house and is very popular with the neighbors and others who pass through the area. María serves them all with kindness and happiness because good treatment makes her customers come back to buy from her again. Her store has been in operation for 15 years and has become well-known and busy. What María likes about her work is that it is profitable and gives her a good income so she can keep her household going and give her child a better quality of life. However, on occasion she does not have the capital to invest when she has the opportunity to make a good purchase. This is why she really wants to keep growing, expand her business and improve the infrastructure in her house to have more spaces so she can store a larger volume of merchandise. This will be María's first loan with MFP. She is very happy about the opportunity she has been given to have a loan. With the 1000 new soles she is asking for, María will buy products to expand her business and materials like battens, nails and wood for repairs to her house.
