Ruku

Ruku is 43 years old. She is married and has 2 children, aged 20 and 15. In 2001, she established her potato selling business. Working 7 days a week and 8 hours a day, she supports her family. She has already received and successfully repaid 6 loans from Patan BPW and used her most recent to buy potatoes for her business. She is a wholesaler in the potato business. She sells potatoes cheaply in the local market. She buys potatoes from the Kalimati bazaar which is one of the famous wholesale vegetable bazaars of the Kathmandu valley.
