A loan helped To buy ingredients and supplies, and to renovate his bakery.
Wilson Enrique's story
Wilson, 33, lives in the municipality of Puerto Colombia, a town that is 25 minutes from Barranquilla on the Caribbean coast. There he runs a bakery named after himself, where he makes all kinds of bread, pastry and general baked goods. He sells most of his bread to the stores in the town of Puerto Colombia. In the early morning he takes his motorcycle to delivers the bread and in the afternoons he goes around to collect payment. He also has a sales point in his home and two metal display counters. Currently he wants to buy ingredients and supplies as well as renovate the bakery; so he has requested a loan through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to have access to a CrediKiva loan. This is his first loan. He knows how to make good bread and wheat flour products because he learned the trade when he was 14 years old. His goals grow daily and are based on reality since he manages a marginal income of 45% and a stock turnover of 3 days, which is the good business plan he works with.
