Gina's story

Gina is 40 years old and is married to Jimmer, a full-time farmer in the village of Linglingay, Angadanan. Gina is engaged in a hog-raising business, primarily raising hogs for breeding. She has had this business for 10 years and earns about PHP 2,500 per piglet. Her ambition in life is to improve the status of living for her family and to give her children the best education they need. Sometimes, there are problems and intricacies that they come across, but, through their strong determination, they can survive. Right now, Gina is requesting a loan amounting to PHP 10,000 to buy feed, vaccines, and vitamins for her hogs. She hopes that she can get the amount she requested to further grow her business.
