Ligia

Ligia, 32, is married to Wilson, 34. They are both from the city of Caacupé and have 2 children, one who is seven years old and one who is three. For more than 5 years Ligia has had a sewing workshop where she makes and sells t-shirts with the image of the Virgin of Caacupé. She says that she is especially busy during this time of year because it's getting close to the 8th of December, a religious holiday for the festival of the Virgin de Caacupé. She receives bulk orders from her customers who are mostly merchants who have stalls around the basilica. She asks for a loan to buy fabric, thread and other products to make t-shirts to meet her customers' needs.
