Yesu Asobola Development Group's story
27 year old Aida is cognizant of the fact that it’s only her enterprise, steadfastness, assiduousness, determination and perseverance which will ensure steady improvement in her retail shop business. Aida, a happy go lucky single lady, says the sky is her only limit. She operates her business in Kampala. Aida's family is close knit and there is a semblance of cohesion in what the family sets out to do. The last 2 years have seen Aida on the inside lane as she aims at establishing a firm foothold for her business. She sells mostly general merchandise such as soap, sugar, salt, cold drinks, maize flour, rice, beans, plastics, etc. Weekly she says his sales returns total up to Ugandan shillings 50,000. Aida's reckoning is that in the near future, she will be able to sell and earn more if she can restock her shop with more commodities. She intends to use her Kiva loan to purchase more retail stock, such as maize flour, beans, sugar, candles, etc to resell.
