Getar Muda Group's story

Faridah is 37 years old and married with three children. All of her children are going to school. Two of them are in the middle school and one in elementary school. She has been selling mobile phone minute refills from her house for seven years. The business has been steady. The income that she gets can help her husband to cover daily basic needs of the family, including school fees. But she needs more capital to have more mobile phone minute refills to resell to create more income. In the future, she plans to have her own shop and have more customers. She also might try to find another type of business she can run in addition to the mobile phone minutes sales because she enjoys running her own business. Other group members plan to use their loans to help their businesses which include a general store and traditional clothing sales.
