Celerina, a widow, is 56 years old. She studied until the junior year of high school. She has three sons in school. Joel is a junior in high school, Margarita is a sophomore, and Eduardo is in the 6th grade. She is in the business of selling grocery items. With the money from the loan she will buy supplies such as detergent, milk, rice, sugar, beans, oil, and other products. She is very grateful for the help of the loan to supply her business and thus to pay the school expenses for her children in that she wants to give them a better education. Celerina would like to increase her business and would like to expand it a bit more. Celerina belongs to the Flores de Rio group which is made up of 11 people, 1 man and 10 women, and they are: Nicolasa, Estela, Demecia, María Elvia, Guadalupe, Virginia, Flor del Carmen, Flor Ángel, Freddy, and Igudina. All of them are involved in a business activity such as selling chickens, corn, beans, tamales, cosmetics, bread, food, soft drinks and other items.
