Mujeres Luchando Por El Progreso 3 & 4 Group's story

Manuel is one of the members of the women's group Fighting for Progress 3 &4, located in the city of Santiago. It is the second largest in the country in population and economic activity. Thanks to this, its residents have a lot of access to wholesale markets. This is also due to its proximity to the border markets with Haiti, where a lot of our clients and members of the group buy their products. Manuel sells different products such as toilet paper, shoes and slippers, etc. He is a father of 3 children, 2 of whom live with him and his wife. Manuel told us that one of his biggest challenges is being able to have a successful business and in this way provide and meet the needs he faces. In his free time, he likes to read the bible. This is Manuel's second loan. He will invest it in increasing his inventory. He buys the bathroom products wholesale and sells them retail. He also buys his shoes at the Haitian border at a good price and quality. One of his dreams is to be able to build another house and rent it out, in order to make more income.
