Faida Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy four bales of secondhand clothing (underwear, socks, hand towels, shoes).
Faida Group's story
Kahindo, age 32, is the leader of Faida Group. She's a young entrepreneur, married, and the mother of seven children. Her husband is a retailer, whereas she sells various kinds of clothing. She's been running this kind of money-earning business since she was young. She already benefited from 16 loans from Kiva's partner, Hekima. Her first capital, valued at $100, was given to her by her husband. This new loan will be used to buy four bales of secondhand clothing (underwear, socks, hand towels, shoes) and realize other micro project of her family. In addition, she would like to see her children grow up comfortably and expand her business. She thanks Hekima for its action targeting poor women who are excluded from traditional banks.
