Normandina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy bundles of used clothes.
Señora Normandina is 58 years old. She is a widow and mother of 5 children. She lives in the Colonia Moncada Lobo in the town of Juticalpa and she sells second hand clothes. Doña Normandina started selling used clothes more than 10 years ago. She works with one of her children selling the clothes as street vendors. Every day very early in the morning they travel to the nearby villages to sell and then they come home in the afternoons. Normandina does not suffer from any serious medical condition; 'gracias a Dios' (thanks be to God) she is a healthy person but she has a granddaughter who has problems with her eyesight and has undergone 3 operations. The girl has now completely lost her eyesight and cannot see. Doña Normandina is asking for the loan to purchase 3 bundles of used clothes so that she can continue to have an economic activity that gives her an upkeep and allows her to help her granddaughter with the medical expenses of her illness. Her dream is to see her granddaughter recovered and to have her own premises so as to no longer be a street vendor exposed to crime. Doña Normandina has 4 loan cycles with FAMA and is very punctual with her repayments.
