Mariam

Mariam is from the village of Anoushavan in the Shirak region of Armenia. Mariam is married with two sons (nineteen and twenty-six years old). She has a high school education and has been working on the family farm for fifteen years. Mariam supports her relatives living in the city with products grown on her farm. Mariam was born in Anoushavan and lives close to her relatives. She has many good friends and enjoys the village life. Mariam would like a loan to purchase seeds for the autumn growing season. She expects this investment to increase the family income by ten percent. Mariam is pleased with the microfinance services, especially loan collection in the villages.
