Karla Estebana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy various craft items, such as materials to make bags to put plants in and to increase her sales.
Karla Estebana's story
Doña Karla, who is a businesswoman, has been increasing her crafts business, since in the past she also had a grocery store, which she closed so that she could work full time in crafts. Now she travels to the country of Costa Rica to buy basic materials, decorations, and caps, and to buy bags to use for making bags to put plants in. This has been a good business, and she sells them wholesale. Part of this growth has been due to the financing that she has obtained in six loan cycles with Afodenic, all of which was invested, and part was from the earnings from the grocery store, which she invested in the crafts business, which has generated better sales and better earnings for her. She is succeeding in meeting her goals -- paying her basic household expenses and helping her children and her husband.
