Gbedokpo Suru Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy canned goods, soaps, and cassava flour.

Gbedokpo Suru Group's story

The group GBEDOKPO SURU is comprised of three persons who are sellers together at the same market. This is the first time the group has requested financial aid from ALIDé to boost their business. The group's representative, by the name of Mélanie Akoua, is the one with her hand raised in the photo. She is 47 years old and a widow who lives alone. She has four children, all in school. Mélanie Akoua never attended school. To support herself and make sure her children are fed, she sells a variety of goods (canned foods, soaps, cassava flour, etc.) in a market in Benin. Her supplies come from Benin. She has been in this business for six years. Seeking to satisfy her customers and increase her revenues, Mélanie Akoua and the other members of the group GBEDOKPO SURU are requesting a loan.
