Nola's story

38-year-old Nola is an admirable woman. She has been married to her husband Arturo for seven years and their son Jhems was born as a product of their love. She cares for her son in a rental house which is located in the city of Tarma. Nola's life centers around maintaining family harmony. She loves her son and her husband who are her reason for getting ahead in life. Some years ago, Nola started working as an obstetrician at a health clinic in the town of Acobamba. She receives a monthly salary for her service. Nola enjoys working with future mothers, providing them with all the care she can. She also receives support from her husband who provides a public transport service on the Tarma-Acobamba route. They are able to get ahead in life because they both support their household financially. "My parents are farmers and this is why I also inherited this business" says Nola, who she tells us in detail about how she spends her free time growing seasonal food on her parents' farmland. Through her work and commitment, Nola has managed to buy a car and pay for her son's education. Now she would like to continue growing her crops and putting together more working capital. Nola is a member of the "Virgen de Fátima" community bank and this is her first loan from MFP. She hopes to receive your support so that she can achieve her goals. For her part, she pledges to be punctual in making her loan repayments. This season, Nola will start sowing corn. With your support, she will invest the money she has requested in buying natural fertilizers so that she can make a successful start to her upcoming sowing season.
