Angela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more corn, bean, and squash seeds for her business.

Angela's story

Ángela is 56 and is married to Florentino. They have two children, Juan and Librada, who are already married and have their own families. She sells seeds, such as corn and bean, which she has been doing for more than 25 years. She started this business to help her husband and family with day-to-day expenses so as to improve their economic situation a bit and make their future more secure, especially now that they are getting older. The money she receives will be invested in increasing her stock of seeds, such as corn, bean, and squash seeds. Ángela would like to increase her working capital so that her business can grow rapidly, as she would like to have a store to buy and sell seeds; this would offer her the chance to improve and increase her income even further and thus help her family. She is very grateful for the assistance she receives from Kiva donors, which allows her to enjoy better production and to grow her business, so she can support her family and save some of her income for the future.
