A loan helped to buy bread baking supplies.

Martha Norma's story

Martha Norma, 44, has been selling bread for the last four years and cheese for the last seven months with her husband, Gildardo, 42. She is a very hardworking woman who likes to help her husband as much as possible. When her husband heads out to the fields to milk the cows and then when he returns she takes over curdling the milk and making the cheese. She asked for the loan to buy bread making supplies like: flour, milk, yeast, shortening and eggs. She has three children: a girl, Ricarda, 9, and Lorena, 12, and one boy, Gilberto, 5. She is very happy with her business because she’s gaining new customers every day and the business is growing. She very much likes having her own business because she helps her husband with household expenses and with her children’ schooling costs. One of her dreams is to have a larger bakery than the one she has now because she’d like to also sell cakes. She thanks Fundación Realidad for the support they give people who want to have their own business to get ahead and help their families.
