Dusabimana Group's story

Melde is a merchant, 32 years old, who lives in the town of Gihamagara in the province of Gitega. She has been selling grocery items, such as cassava flour, beans, rice, cookies... for eight years. She is also a farmer. She went to school through the 6th grade. She is married to Gerard, who is also a grocer. Together, they have three children, of whom one is in primary school.
