Josephine

Josephine is a 55-year-old widow with four children living in a semi permanent house in Fort Portal, Uganda. Her dream is to educate her children. She has been a farmer for 15 years, growing mainly maize and bananas for sale. Her main constraint has been high labor costs. Her desire is to buy land and practice mechanised farming. Josephine needs the loan to add to her savings so she can buy another piece of land for farming purposes.
