Sumac Maki Group's story

These members belong to the group called “Sumac Maki” which is located in the District, Province, and Department of Cusco.

Sra. Katia Marilyn is 32 years old, single, and has two children. She works in her own crafts business where she makes articles out of wool such as scarves, sweaters, and shirts. Katia sells her goods as a street vendor and works between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Through her business, she has been able to help her children move forward. Katia wants to expand her business of selling crafts, so she is requesting a loan to buy handicrafts in bulk. She will also buy wool for knitting sweaters and scarves.

The other members engage in businesses such as selling handicrafts, operating an auto repair shop, selling fruit, selling machinery, and selling groceries.

Katia is grateful for being part of her group and for being able to fulfill her dream in this manner. She promises to complete her payments according to the established terms.
