Ilda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to invest in her agro-business (seeds, ploughing, compost, etc.).
Ilda was born in Mafuiane, Namaacha District, Maputo Province in southern Mozambique. She is married and has three children between 8 and 18 years old; all the children go to school. Ilda finished ninth grade and quit school because of financial problems. She lives in her own house with her family and also supports three stepchildren who live with her. She has never left Maputo. Ilda has been a farmer for more than ten years and has an income of 35,000 meticais per month. She uses the money for household expenses and saves some in her bank account (at BCI). She has never had a loan from other banks. Ilda learned about Hluvuku through a neighbor who is also a customer, and this is her third Hluvuku loan. She is asking for 25,000 meticais to invest in her agro-business (seeds, ploughing, compost and other expenses). The previous loans were for 15,000 meticais and 20,000 meticais, and they were also used for agriculture. Ilda's dream is to finish her house and furnish it so she can make her family more comfortable. To do this, she intends to ask Hluvuku for more loans.
