Hawa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped To pay for supplies for her apparel-making business.

Hawa's story

This is 56 year-old Hawa. She is married to a small trader, and has six children aged 7, 9, 12, 22, 26 and 32 years old. In 1981, Hawa established her clothing business. She began her business to help her husband support their family. Working six days a week and 10 hours a day, she earns about Le 1,100,000 every month from this business. She would like a loan in the amount of Le 4,000,000. Hawa has already received and successfully repaid two loans. She now requires a new loan in order to buy lace, wax cotton, local cotton and Bamakor cotton. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately Le 200,000. Hawa travels to Freetown by public transport to purchase her supplies every week in the dry season and twice per month in the rainy season. Sales are sometimes slow in the rainy season. She thanks you for your support.
