La Ilucion Group's story

La Ilución Communal Bank, entering its third loan cycle, is maD. up of nine members who live in the town of El Torno, in the Miraflores area. All of them have a business or proviD. services. The president is Sra. Maria who has been living in the Miraflores area for some 16 years. Her business is selling CDs and DVDs in El Torno’s central market and she has also been employed as a domestic worker in a condominium in the area for the past 3 years. She is married to Sr. Victor, who is a chauffeur, and they have 3 school-aged children. With the money from this loan, she plans to buy DVDs of children’s films wholesale. She and her husband are a very united family: both contribute to household expenses and make sacrifices so their children can get ahead. Sra. Maria’s wish is to see her children become professionals. She is grateful to the institution for the support it has provided.
