Martha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a sack of maize flour, two bags of sugar, and two cartons of bar soap.

Martha's story

Martha, 47, is an ambitious business lady. She is married and blessed with three children. For the past three years, she has been operating a retail shop to make ends meet, supplementing this income with earnings from tea growing and dairy farming ventures. In the next five years, she wants to have transformed her business into wholesale so that she gets nearer to her dream of being a prominent business lady. She is requesting a loan of 20,000 Kenyan shillings to buy a 90kg sack of maize flour, two bags of sugar and two cartons of bar soap. She is grateful to Faulu Kenya for instilling in her the savings culture.
