Berta Maribel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase sugar, candy, paper, detergent, and supplies for making "pupusas".

Berta Maribel's story

Berta Maribel is 42 years old and lives in her own home with her husband Santiago, a brother, and a child who is in school. She works hard in order to contribute toward the household finances. Several years ago, she established a small store in her home. She also operates a “pupuseria”. These businesses have been a great help since her husband is a farmer and they have no other source of income. Berta keeps herself organized so that she can sell pupusas every weekend. This business enables her to generate extra income so that her family can survive. Berta does not waste any opportunity to do business since she is a very enterprising woman who accomplishes everything she plans. She is well-known in the area thanks to her charisma and willingness to work. In addition, all of her customers always find what they are looking for and trust the quality and cleanliness by which she offers her delicious pupusas.

With her faith in God, Berta decided to apply for a loan from Apoyo Integral to help obtain positive results so that she can achieve a better quality of life. This loan is needed to buy a variety of products for her store such as sugar, candy, paper, detergent, and supplies for making her delicious pupusas such as beans, corn, propane gas, and other items.
