Felix's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase pea seeds and six bags of fertilizer.
Félix is a courageous and hardworking man. He is 37 years old, and along with his wife Dina cares for his three minor children: Fresia, Frank and Denis, who live in familial harmony in their own home, located in the hamlet of Yanama Alta. The work he has done for 15 years is farming, in which he grows various crops native to the area such as potatoes, peas and gladioli. What he enjoys most about his work is to be able to invest, since his secret is to plant crops on a staggered basis, which consists of planting a variety of products so as to counteract fluctuations in market prices. Now after his next harvest he will begin sowing beans, ahead of season, and in this way he will stabilize his finances. In addition he has five bulls with which he does plowing, making 60 Peruvian soles a day, but he does that activity in his free time so, in his own words, it is "his hobby." Félix's plans are to acquire a car with which to offer public transportation, in addition to being able to own his own farmland since he currently rents large areas of land to do his farming. He belongs to the communal bank "Manantiales de Yanama" [Springs of Yanama] and this is his sixth loan with MFP. He is an active member and committed to the work of the other members of his bank. Thus he hopes for the support of all of you so he may keep pursuing his objectives. Félix will harvest gladioli within a few days, and so upon receiving his support he is thinking of investing the money in the purchase of one bag of pea seeds for which he will also require six bags of natural fertilizers, and thus successfully begin his next planting.
